This file will document the Syn-Calc template named BOWLSC.BIN.¢¢ The template as you download it will contain the names of our league and our bowlers. To remove these, simply type over them in the text entry mode. To fit in more teams or bowlers, simply remove some of the rows between entries. The formulae for calculating the won-lost percentage in I15 to I20 is +D15/(D15+E15). Put this in I15 and copy it to F16 to F20. The formula for team average is +H15/(D15+E15). Copy this from I15 to I16 to I20. The formula for an individual average to be put in F27 is +E27/C27. Copy this to F28 to F55.¢¢ This should take care of 29 bowlers, 30 would add one to the A to F columns (58 instead of 57). It is important to have the formulae because when you sort the team standings or the individual averages, you are going to target them for their original spots. You will then have to reinsert the formulae in the proper cells. ¢¢To print the sheet, use the command PWA1:I66. This prints a very nice looking average sheet across 80 columns. My PPN is 72327,200.¢¢ The hardest part in the design of this file was setting up the format. At least all of that work was saved by using this template. I estimate that it takes me at least 45 minutes less per week to do the averages.¢
